Prayer for Healing
Father God, You are a Magnificent God! You are all-knowing, all-powerful, always present. You are worthy of all honor, and glory, and praise! Lord, we come before You this day in need of healing. We know that You have already provided for our healing. You paid the price for it on the cross. According to Your Word, in Isaiah 53:5 (NIV) it says, “But He was pierced for our transgressions, he was crushed for our iniquities; the punishment that brought us peace was on Him, and by His wounds we are healed.” Again, in I Peter 2:24 (NIV) it says, “‘He Himself bore our sins’ in His body on the cross, so that we might die to sins and live for righteousness; ‘by His wounds you have been healed.'” We thank You for redeeming us with Your blood, for paying the price needed for our salvation and healing. All we need to do is to receive them! Father, You have given each of us the measure of faith to receive our healing. Help us to trust You, to trust Your Word today! We thank You for peace and comfort, knowing that You are working on our behalf always (Romans 8:28). Thank You, Lord, for Your Majesty! We honor You with our lives today! We receive the gift of healing that You already bought and paid for on our behalf! Thank You, Jesus, for Your sacrifice! It is in the name of Jesus that we pray all of these things, believing! Amen! So be it!
